"Concerns all operations in which substances, materials or products which are not waste are used again for the same use as for which they were designed. "
In our case, this results in the re-employment of the material diagnosed in good condition after audit. These materials are offered to companies (end customers), individuals directly or via marketplaces. They are therefore put directly on the second-hand market.
"Concerns all operations in wich substances, materials or products whiwh have become waste are used again."
We are thus taking part in the future reuse of computer equipment, which, after audit, was diagnosed as defective. They have to be repaired or used as parts, so we send them to partners who can repackage them.
"Recycling is a process of treating waste products that have reached the end of their life cycle, which allows some of their materials to be reintroduced into the production of new products."
At Mμ Computer Trading, we call on the company Paprec (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified) specialized in the recycling of computer equipment (e-waste). They extract the various components and upgrade the raw materials.
"Action to diminish, to reduce something."
Today, the linear production and consumption model (extraction, production, consumption, disposal) is responsible for high environmental impacts (use of resources, greenhouse gas emissions, pollution and production of more or less hazardous waste). Extending the lifespan of products is one of the ways to reduce their environmental impact.
Extending the lifespan of manufactured products (electrical and electronic equipment, vehicles, textile products, furniture, etc.) is one of the levers to significantly reduce impacts on the environment. This contributes to waste prevention, as part of a transition to a circular economy.
